ABOUT US

The iTEENER team consists of 5 students from the 4th year of S.Trinchese high school of Martano(Le). We’ve worked together before, learning about ourselves as well as our limitations, and overcoming them thanks to a winning collaboration demonstrated by the victory of the Weave Innovation Camp in Melpignano, but also by reaching the final of the Italian entrepreneurship championship, held in Bocconi, Milan. And we’re not stopping here!
Who are we?

  • Giulio Trisolino, Managing Director: he coordinated the project and managed the other members of the team, taking care of the interpersonal relationships with those outside the project;

  • Carlotta Capone, Financial Director: she was responsible for the management and organization of the fundraising;

  • Saemi De Rinaldis, Social Media Manager: responsible for the creation of content on all our dissemination channels and manages the community;

  • Jaida Gallo, Marketing Director: is responsible for finding new investors, and bringing experts in the field devoted to the cause;

  • Ailine Petrachi, General Manager: she reviewed the work of each team member.

Why IVAN?

The name of our social network is IVAN, acronym of "International Volunteering Association Network".
This bizarre name was born from the fact that, during the design of the project, we have always been in the company of Ivan, a bearded dragon, Carlotta’s pet. Having designated him as our mascot, we thought that in addition to the name of the social could also represent the logo.
The logo, in fact, consists precisely in a silhouette of a bearded dragon in shades of green, the color particularly significant if associated with the environment and sustainability.

This is our mascot, IVAN, a 6-month-old bearded dragon 20 cm in size who lives in a cozy terrarium at Carlotta’s house and eats insects and vegetables.

As the name makes clear, our bearded dragon has a nice throat bag, which recalls the beard and shows it whenever he feels threatened.
